Quality has to be manufactured, but this doesn´t work without control! Concerning the internal quality assurance we attach great importance to proper treatment of challenging products.
All raw materials – whether rods, forgings or cast blanks – are checked before production clearance and get a batch code. This code is matched with the manufacturing order.
After the respective manufacturing process modern measurement methods are used. Furthermore final inspection is carried out, the measurement results are recorded and filed for years.
With each heat treatment batch a wide range of process parameters are measured in realtime and filed. After this we additionally check samples on micro-structure and hardness.
The finished parts also get a batch code to reference all data mentioned above. This enables the traceability from the finished part right back to the raw material in the most effective way.
Every entire gearbox gets an identification number. During manufacturing all necessary setting values are referenced to the respective gearbox and filed.
To realise this internal quality target in the following you find an extract of our comprehensive facilities:
• 3D-coordinate measurement • crack test facility • measuring of teeth geometry • hardness testing • measuring of hardness variation curve • micro-structure analysis
To top the issue off – HOLINGER ENGINEERING in Melbourne is ISO 9001 certified. This quality management has been implemented for years. It is yearly inspected by external institutions and processes are optimized continiously.
