The company Holinger can point to decades of experiences in design
and computing of high-performance gearboxes and is fitted up with all
tools necessary to create transmissions started from “the blank sheet of
paper”.
Gear calculation
The layout of the gear tooth
geometry is carried out with self-developed software. Internal gear
manufacturing guarantees an ideal agreement between data and product.
Shaft computing and bearing selection
Gearing forces
and their directions are resulting from the gear calculation and are
used as input data for the bearing calculation. Furthermore it is now
possible to define the shaft distortions and to keep these as small as
possible by iterative design stepsresults. This process is of benefit to the contact pattern and also to long life and load capacity.
Layout of gearbox cases
The simulation of housing
distortion and stress under load happens by applying the finite element
analysis (FEA) to create optimal conditions already in the phase of
design. Due to the fact that the pattern work for the castings is done
in-house via CAD/CAM the design of the cases ensures controlled
solidification.
Design and Drafting
HOLINGER ENGINEERING in Australia
as well as HOLINGER EUROPE are applying the identical 3D-CAD – system
which results in accurate data exchange. The communication with our
customers happens via FTP-server with standard interfaces like STEP,
IGES or DXF.
Shifting systems
We develop mechanical shifting systems with a lever-integrated two-way sensor for ignition cut and double-declutch.
Our pneumatic and electric paddle shift systems are all-in-one
solutions. We are able to handle the necessary interference in the
ECU/TCU – even available from HolingerEurope – and to help with the
programming of the system for fine tuning the gear shifts.
Gearbox workshop
As we carry out assemblies of new
and revised transmissions we are always informed about the performance
and lifetime which helps to optimize our products continuously.
